Pre-Test Coaching
A pre-test driving coaching session helps learners identify and correct mistakes, familiarise themselves with the test route, and build confidence. It improves driving skills, increases chances of passing the test, and reduces anxiety on exam day.
Other Services
Tom is no longer offering EDT or Reduced EDT lessons to new drivers. He is only available for pre-test coaching and confidence-building lessons to drivers who have already completed their EDT lessons.
About Your Instructor
Tom is an RSA approved driving instructor with 8 years of experience as an RSA driving tester prior to retiring from that role in 2024.
Tom has had a lifetime of driving experience and has undergone numerous training courses including in his role at the RSA and, prior to that, as an emergency response driver.
Due to his prior experience, Tom has a particular interest in preparing students not just to pass their driving test, but to become safe and confident drivers for life. He is dedicated to ensuring that every learner develops the skills necessary for a lifetime of safe driving.
Having witnessed at first hand test participants who struggle with stress and anxiety, Tom believes that a calming influence both during initial training and in the weeks immediately before the test can build confidence. He has considerable training and experience in this area and has a carefully thought out plan to assist people who find the experience overly stressful.
